We all know our pets are our children. They are contributing members of our families. We love them, and they love us. We are completely responsible for their welfare - for their entire lives.
With the ever-increasing expenses of veterinary care, whether routine or catastrophic, I've believed for years now that we should be able to claim these expenses as dependent care write-offs on our taxes. Ideally, we'd also be able to add our pets onto our own medical insurance policies with shared deductibles, prescription services, flexible spending accounts - the works. Anyone who's had to worry about whether they can afford to fork out the dough when a pet is sick or injured should have an interest in seeing this kind of financial relief.

You'll have the opportunity to get involved in the 2009 harvest with Crush Camp workshops, design or vote on the label, and enjoy between 1-12 bottles of the wine we made when it's finished! You'll be invited to barrel tastings and other events throughout the year as well.
